Ties are made with stretchy elastic (5 inches long before stretch) and secured with a plastic snap. This make it perfect for little kiddos as well as adult shirts that go all the way up to 2xl. When fully stretched tie can go all the way up to 8.5 inches. These will come as a pair.
My daughter is a catcher. We had so much trouble with the velcro popping open when she was throwing or the velcro getting stuck in her long hair. Not fun! We had to figure out a way accommodate her movements and keeping her cool. These ties have worked great in that hot Texas heat!
